Synopsis
Runaway child Dong-kyu wishes to make money by reporting on companies that use illegal disposable goods. One day Dong-kyu runs away after taking a picture of a takeout counter where Si-nae works. Si-nae throws a stone at Dong-kyu, and he falls to the ground. When regaining consciousness, he claims he can't remember anything, and immediately takes shelter at Si-nae's place.

In order to send Dong-kyu away, Si-nae tries to help Dong-kyu regain his memory. However, as time goes by, Si-nae’s small one-room shelter becomes crowded by strangers, such as Young-hee, a Chosun girl from Yenbian, and Man-soo, who owns a fast food restaurant. As this group of people, most unlikely to mingle and become family members, clash with one another, they learn how to become a family.

This witty film touches on the heavy subject of problems in families in a light and cheerful way.
Director's Note
Family is inborn bondage. It gives certain duty upon people who doesn't choose it, and as a family member, the responsibility for family is required and educated socially. Family is laid beyond what is right or wrong. Family is just what makes us human. But for some people, the inborn bondage is too heavy to carry along their life path.
This movie is about them. Those who don't have family or couldn't bear the weigh of the inevitable duty that they should do as family members.
It's not a serious story. I'd like to show more potentials than pains and scars within their relationships. That’s because that's what I believe about family.
