Sunje Fund Award (Best Short Award), 9th Pusan Int¡¯l Film Festival (2004, Korea)
A little boy, Shin¡¯s mother always comes late because of her job and his father is living separately because they are thinking of divorce. His mother is indifferent to Shin even though he is waiting for his birthday with drawing a line on each number of days on calendar. He is always talking with a gold fish, the only friend of him.
On his birthday, he is talking with the goldfish like he usually does.

I saw news announced about increasing the rate of divorce in Korea.
Suddenly, I doubt that many children could be hurt in their heart by their parents' selfishness and I want to describe the children who are sacrificed by unconcern.
I hope their parents should consider about their children's mind even one moment.
