Korean writer LEE-Sang makes several attempts to go to Tokyo since 1936. But his attempts always end up as a failure due to various reasons. While his poetries and novels focus on the times of failure, the repeated failure of his attempts to go to Tokyo may be a result of coincidence as well as inevitable consequence. LEE-sang, who existed not in the time of the world but in the 'in between times' of repetition, is still roaming like a ghost around the city of Seoul up until now.

The text of LEE-Sang, floating vaguely 'between' Seoul/Tokyo, inside/outside of the mirror, opened/closed alley, Kim Hae Kyung/Lee Sang, scary/scared child. I wanted to depict LEE-Sang who made that text into his own life. Until now, in the year 2011, he repeats the time of failure in his vague text, like a ghost. This film was taken by iPhone(with it¡¯s 8mm analog film application), so the format of the film is also floating ¡®between¡¯ analog/digital just like Lee Sang¡¯s life as 'between-text'.
